🇮🇹 “Dio sta nel dettaglio”: un’affermazione di Aby Warburg che mi piace richiamare oggi, all’avvio di questa nuova sezione del blog. Che chiamo appunto "Details/Dettagli": comprenderà brevi note e riflessioni destate da quadri, sculture, oggetti di design e arte applicata etc.; da particolari minuti e tuttavia salienti, che possono per lo più sfuggire all'osservazione. 🇬🇧 “God is in the detail”: I find myself returning to Aby Warburg’s celebrated maxim as I inaugurate this new corner of the blog. Entitled "Details/Dettagli", this column will curate concise observations and reflections elicited by paintings, statuary, and the artifacts of design and applied arts—focusing specifically on those minute yet salient features that so often elude the casual gaze.
